PITCH LETTER TO PUBLICIZE FATTBURGER TOUR DATES

In support of their newest cd "Living Large" on the Shanachie/Cachet label, Fattburger brings their cool and classy jazz fusion sounds to several east coast clubs in February. Fattburger's infectious beat can be heard on Weds. Feb. 15 at SOB's in NYC, on Fri. Feb. 17 at the Club Bene in Sayreville, NJ, on Sat. Feb. 18 at IMAC in Long Island, NY and on Sun. Feb. 19 at G-Clef in Providence, R.I.

The band's name was derived from one of their most popular songs, an ode to the "Fatburger" hamburger chain in Los Angeles. During one of their early concerts, the group asked an audience what they should name their new band and the spectators yelled back "Fattburger".

In the past ten years, all six of the band's releases reached the Billboard, Radio & Records, and Gavin Top Ten. Their new release, "Livin Large" combines acid jazz and hip-hop with Fattburger's classic melodic, funky jazz sound.

Fattburger members have performed with noted musicians Barry White, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Mann, Dave Valentin, Freddie Hubbard, Al DiMeola, and others.
